Our world is designed for sighted people. Despite the efforts to make public spaces safer for blind people, they still have to deal with many obstacles many don’t even think about – temporary traffic signs, truck ramps, trees; generally things that are not attached to the ground and therefore cannot be detected by a blindman’s stick. Previous solutions to this are either difficult to use, very expensive or far too conspicuous, making it harder for visually impaired people to belong.

That is where LeadMe comes in. We don’t just develop our product for visually impaired, we develop it with them so they can tell us exactly what they need. The result are our affordable, user-friendly and ordinary looking glasses. Because we want to help to make life easier for visually impaired people.
